NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROPERTIES

In late 2009 Goshen Indiana was chosen to receive the NSP1 grant from the federal government. Administrated on the state level by Indiana Housing Authority and facilitated on the local level by a partnership between the city of Goshen and LaCasa, Inc, this program will improve neighborhoods blighted by foreclosure properties and vacant, abandoned and uninhabitable homes.

Barb Swartley is the primary real estate agent for LaCasa for the NSP1 grant and they are already engaged in the acquistion of the homes which will all be located on Goshen's north and east sides. Rehab and resale will begin soon.
